In compliance to the provisions of Smart City Proposal, a Pilot project is envisaged in the Moradabad City under ABD scheme for installation of Smart meters controlled through ‘Automated Metering Infra’ (AMI), with Meters based on ultrasonic technology, in-built long-life battery and RF communication module, recording consumption and other parameters from central control room, with 5 years’ O&Mguarantee as well as an interactive citizen’s App.

Chandigarh Smart City

The proposed Smart Water Meter installation Project in the ADB area of Chandigarh city considers new installation of existing 22,590 consumers by Smart water meters with in-built communication module, a battery pack, creating an Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) through wireless communication network consisting of Gateways, Meter Data Acquisition system and Meter Data Management system, etc. including development of
educated software, interactive mobile apps, etc. to facilitate online meter reading and provide to billing system, collating operational data of the project, all as an integrated project.
